Armod and Korae in Ghostwolf

Armod and Korae got moved to OC status when I started writing out peices and bits of ideas that came to me. Korae is a dancer in a running caravan of gypsies that are considered to be spit upon by the vikings in the northern range in the Dragon Maw. Armod is the viking chief under the Horned Queen, their prophetess who leads their village. Korae's troupe of gypsies are finally accepted to come to the Dragon Maw for the summer festival where Korae and Armod meet and fall irrevocably in love. However, with the Dragon Maw warriors going on campaign and Korae being unwelcome things are tense.

Yeah its a love story. One of those waffle-filled ones.

[i]The strings of the mandolin reverberated with the sounds of feet dancing, and the drums pounding in a rhythm to follow. The brown-haired chief laughed loudly, mead sparkling in his boyish beard, watching the performers entertain their rather boisterous audience. The Horned Queen was being silly and contemptous, he decided for the village hadn't had something this uplifting since he slayed the Father Stag two weeks before.

It was then that he heard and felt the bewitching woman from the dancing stage earlier in the evening. She wore gold inlaid into a dark crimson dress, a woman bathed in dark blood. Her fingers grasped his before tugging him rather strongly, especially from a woman, towards the dancing.

"Can you not dance, Das Armod?" The warrior could only laugh as his mates, all with a bar wench and an ale, watched him be pulled off into the crowd. [/i]
